Opportunity

As a sales intern you will work with account executives and any new potential clients. There are two main focus points for this position. The first main focus of the position is to prospect, network, and engage new B2B customer accounts by providing outstanding customer service, delivering value added solutions and developing impactful relationships. You will also be responsible for analyzing and assessing their business to see how a partnership with Soren will meet their needs. The second main focus is to assist the account executives with closing deals along with developing more effective and efficient methods for improving the sales process through assigned projects.

As a sales intern for Soren, you will be enrolled in a 1-month onboarding training program which will start your knowledge of Soren, our industry, and ensure your proficiency in our systems and processes. This training will include elements that will make you confident and skilled as you perform your job along the way.  You will come out of this experience ready to be part of the success of growing Soren and a high performing member of our team.

What will you be doing

    • Developing, maintaining, and managing new client relationships via email, phone, and face to face contact
      • Note: majority of new client relationships contact is by phone
    • Effectively utilizing Salesforce, internet, phone, referrals, and any other networking tools for client prospecting
    • Assisting with identifying and generating new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery, understanding key decision makers, and determining the appropriate approach for each potential client
    • Ability to navigate Soren’s technology systems to assist with managing daily operational task such as account management, invoicing, and tracking shipments
    • Assisting with building relationships and collaborating with account executives to create customer solutions such as appropriate pricing strategy, solution implementation, and future customer growth potential

      • Comfortable making about 25-50 cold calls via phone
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

      • Motivated to reach and exceed goals
      • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast pace environment

      • Education:
        • High school or equivalent
