Talent Acquisition Specialist (Part-Time)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist with Soren will be part of the Human Resource Department and oversee our full-cycle recruiting. This position will primarily focus on sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures, interview candidates, assist with on-boarding process, and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.

What will you be doing

  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Manage all social media platform and write new content weekly
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Conduct screen call interviews
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Add, assess, and manage candidate information, including resumes, contact details, notes, and feedback using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Assist with new hire on-boarding process, which entails scheduling and managing drug test and background check, coordinate with office manager to set up desk, schedule trainings, etc.
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
  • Assist with putting together newsletters and other marketing content
  • Research, design, and manage company SWAG

  • Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
