Meet, Rusty! Rusty has been with Soren for about 6 years and plays an important role in the growth and success of Soren as a Capacity Analyst. Bryce, Account Manager and Rusty’s superior describes “Rusty as self-motivating, independent, and hardworking. He is not afraid to do hard tasks and conducts himself in a professional matter while holding himself to a high standard. I wish I had several large accounts to put Rusty on because I know he’d do a good job. Rusty is a great asset to Team Skeet. We are thrilled to have Rusty as part of the Soren family and proud to introduce you to him!

Here are some fun facts about Rusty:

What brought you to Soren? I wanted a new opportunity. Something bigger and better than the current position I held.

How is Soren different than other companies you’ve worked for? The biggest take away I get from Soren is that the owners and management truly care about us, our families, and our well being. It’s hard to find that these days and these guys do very well with that. Its comforting knowing that your bosses actually care about you and your progressions and advancement as opposed to others who just want you to get the job done so they can make more money.

Which Soren core value means the most to you and why? I think they are all strong values to possess in work and life. If I had to choose one it would be ‘choose to be proactive’. I like to stay on top of stuff and avoid any issues in the future that can be prevented now.

Do you have any advice for new or potential Soren employees? We work and play, but we work first. We are a team and a family but make sure you handle yourself as well.  And you control your progression.

Tell us a little bit about your family…Been married for about a year and a half to an amazing woman who I’ve known since high school, and my family, we’re country folks by roots. I have 1 brother, 1 half brother and 1 half-sister.  Don’t have kids and don’t plan on it. We do have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits.

Where is your favorite place to be? The beach or the ranch. Other than that I like to be with my family and friends.

What s your favorite movie or TV show? So many but here are a few:

Movies: Old School, The Hangover, Blow, Goonies, Stand By Me

TV: How I met your mother, Hawaii 5-0, Forensic Files

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and a glass of milk.

If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be? Jesus and Johnny Cash

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring? A knife, a lot of rope, and an economy family size super jumbo container of sunblock.

People would be surprised if they knew… That I am related to the outlaw Jesse James.
