Meet Lexi! Lexi has been with Soren for 3 years and plays a very important role as our Office Manager. Lexi is an excellent example of the Soren core value “Embrace the Journey” as she implements many programs and is always willing to help with a new project for the team. Our President, Jason, says “We are very fortunate to have Lexi a part of the Soren Family. She is a key support of the organization and quickly progressed to a member of our leadership team. She has always been the ultimate team player, willing to take on very challenging projects others wouldn’t even begin to entertain. Regardless of the demand or request, she remains consistently positive and brings an attitude of ‘I Can’ each day to work. She makes the organization better and we are grateful to get to work with Lexi and appreciative for her continual contributions as she creates a better working experience at Soren”. We are thrilled to have Lexi as part of the Soren Family and are proud to spotlight her this month!

Here are some fun facts about Lexi:

What brought you to Soren?

The biggest factor that influenced my decision to join the Soren team was the opportunity for experience and development. I was eager to contribute to the already impressive growth and success of Soren. I knew Jason before working at Soren and knew he was someone I would be grateful to work for.

How is Soren different than other companies you’ve worked for?

I love that Soren feels like one big family. I noticed it during my interview process; it has stayed true during the 3 years I have been with Soren. Also, I really value the trust they have in me to learn and try new things. I don’t like going out of my comfort zone, but Soren has shown me that’s the only way to grow. Soren exemplifies the saying, “you get out, what you put in.”

Which Soren core value means the most to you and why?

Embrace the Journey….I am a person who focuses on the end result, so enjoying the journey has been a challenge. I like lists and checking them off, which leads to tunnel vision on the future and less awareness for the present. I’ve learned that joy is not necessarily in completion of the goal, but it’s found in loving of the process aka … the journey.

Do you have any advice for new or potential Soren employees?

My advice to new or potential employees is, your life is only as good as your mindset; don’t give up.

Tell us a little bit about your family

My husband and I, aka the Dope Duo, have been married for almost 3 years! I love that he always makes me laugh and treats me like a princess. He says it is only fitting since I love Disney and always wanted to be a princess when I grew up. We love to explore, attend events (Broadway, sporting events, etc.), and trying new food (Our current joint is a bomb Peruvian place).

Where is your favorite place to be?

Any place with my husband and family. Somewhere on a beach is never a bad thing too!

What is your favorite movie or TV show?

Parks and Rec and Mysteries of Laura. Obviously, I’m a sucker for a classic Disney princess movie too.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Medium rare steak with a side (salad/potato/veggie), some type of bread, and chips & salsa with a coke.

If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be?

Chris Hemsworth (don’t tell my husband)

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?

My husband, as much coca cola as one human can carry, and my largest blanket.

People would be surprised if they knew…

I played field hockey growing up.
