No power, no heat, below freezing temperatures and no water. The winter storm that hit the South early Monday morning brought 3 to 6 inches of snow causing these dangerous conditions. In Texas alone, roads are closed due to icy conditions and residents must wait it out as snowplows and ice trucks do not venture this far south. These dangerous conditions don’t just affect the residents, they also affect transportation and logistics professionals trying to do their job by delivering their loads. In addition to the roads being closed for ice, airports and rail terminals are closed and experiencing massive delays. At Soren we are equipped to handle dangerous times like these, we have ensured our loads are moving and our employees are diligently working from the safety and warmth of their homes. We are still able to function during this trying time. From all of us at Soren, we hope you and your family are staying safe and warm.
