Meet Jacob! Jacob joined the Soren family last year and contributes to the growth of Soren as an Account Executive. Jake, SDR Manager says, “The only other person who seems to be working on as many bids as me is Boyer. He’s always got a couple of irons in the fire and his pipeline is as pretty as his sense of style. What brought you to Soren? I came to Soren because of the leaders I met when I visited. I had an overwhelming sense of support from the VP and President of the company before I even worked here.
How is Soren different than other companies you’ve worked for? It is extremely competitive. Even being in the military I didn’t experience this much competition.
Which Soren core value means the most to you and why? You Control Your Progression.
It’s as simple as you dictate how you spend your time. Some people decide to sleep as late as they can every morning, others get up and work. Whatever you chose has an outcome.
Do you have any advice for new or potential Soren employees? Don’t be afraid to ask questions and step outside of your comfort zone. Everyone in this office is supportive and willing to help you with anything you need. It truly feels like you are a part of a family here so don’t be shy.
Tell us a little bit about your family… I come from a small family and split my younger years between California and Pennsylvania. My Mother and Father met while he was serving in the Air Force and had three children. I have an older sister and younger brother that have 2 kids apiece. My wife and I have been married since May of 2017 and we have 2 dogs, Izzie and Luka.
Where is your favorite place to be? At the plaza lights in Kansas City after Thanksgiving dinner.
What is your favorite movie or TV show? Game of Thrones!
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Peanut butter sandwich
If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be? Abraham Lincoln
If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring? TRX, water, and protein
